Holy crap...we're homeowners!

So we did it! We finally got to close on Friday, May 6th, and after everything else we went through, it was pretty painless. Max took the day off of work to bask in his new manly homeownership and to change all the locks on the doors. To our surprise, our buyer's agent, Jeremy Rynders, had a little housewarming gift for us, brand new locks! Seriously awesome right?! I would highly recommend Jeremy to anyone in the area looking to buy or sell a place. He definitely goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy.

Although I was at work while Max was installing our new locks, here is a tutorial on how to install them.

After work, I headed back to Dustyn and Tiffany's place to pick up Turk and bring him home. He got a little bit apprehensive when I packed him up like cargo in his kennel with all the other things we had from the week. About four blocks away from the house, I started to tear up a little bit and become completely overcome with emotion. It was such a great feeling. I "released the hound" and got to see his first experience at his his new home.

Now that we are in, the fun begins!
