Well after some unfortunate events with our closing date, it left us homeless for a week or as Max likes "in transition". We had to be out of our apartment at the end of April or sign another year and that was not happening. Luckily, we have awesome friends who are letting us stay with them (thanks Dustyn and Tiffany!).
Moving was a little less painful than I anticipated. We rented three
U-Haul U Boxes which after running the numbers was cheaper and easier to store and move our things. Similar to the PODS system, they drop off the boxes, you fill them up and they either store and/or move it to your new place. Perfect for us since we had a week lag time.
Turk had a little stressful day since his surroundings were dramatically changing. The photo of him hiding under one of the remaining chairs is perfect evidence.
Afterwards we took our moving crew to
Sobelman's for some super great burgers. There were no complaints.
