Your Bangin' Home Contest

Happy 4th of July everyone! To celebrate this great United States holiday, the Parkland Project wanted to celebrate...you!

Are you firecracker of a DIYer? A Yankee Doodle Dandy of a paint pro? The Betsy Ross of crafters? If so, I want to hear from you! I'm looking for the most "bangin'" room remodels. Give us your best 1970s shag carpet before and show us all how amazing a lil' good ol' American "can do" attitude will do! You the readers will get to vote on the semi-finalists. The winner will take home their choice of a $50 gift card from Home Depot, Lowe's or Menards for your next project. Pretty sweet!

So here are the details.

Contest rules:
1. Send us just one room for submission. Make sure to include as many before and after photographs as you can. Explain thoroughly how each room was changed and what products were used, approximate prices that were used and the overall cost of the room remodel. Please all submissions must be in by Midnight 12:00AM (CST) of Sunday, July 8th, 2012.

2. I will choose four semi-finalists to be featured throughout the week of July 9th-12th, 2012. You will be notified by email if you are chosen to be a semi-finalist. On Friday, July 13, 2012, voting will go up for your favorite redo. You will have until Sunday, July 15th, 2012 at 8PM (CST) to get people rallied and vote for your room.


4. Winner will be announced Monday, July 16, 2012. The winner will be contacted by email for contact information and what gift card they would like.
